Southeast Area Command
Captain James Seebock
The Southeast Area Command (SEAC) is one of nine area commands responsible for providing an array of police services throughout the approximately 53 square miles we cover. It was originally opened in August of 2002 and our borders are Sahara Blvd. to the North, Eastern Ave to the West, Sunrise Mountain trailhead to the East and to the border of Henderson to the South. We also respond to emergencies at Hoover Dam.
Some major landmarks in our area include Wetlands Park, Sunset Park, Boulevard Mall, Horseman’s Park, Casa de Shenandoah owned by entertainer Wayne Newton (Mr. Las Vegas), Sam Boyd Stadium, and the famous Boulder Highway (which is more than 16 miles long) much of which runs through SEAC connecting Downtown Las Vegas and Henderson.
We have a very diverse resident base along with some densely populated areas, including our Daily/Weekly motel properties, some that can house well over 1000 people.
