Victim: Rosa Castrejon, Hispanic female 42 yrs old

Location: Occurred at 6 Mile Cove, Lake Mojave
Date/Time: 10-24-11 at approx 6pm
Synopsis: On October 25th, 2011, Tuesday morning at approximately 9:30am, two citizens were wind surfing at 6 mile cove, on Lake Mojave south of Cottonwood Cove, and saw a Hispanic male and female lying on the beach. The citizens approached the couple and saw that the male and the female were seriously hurt and in need of assistance. The victims had walked near a subject while using their metal detector on the beach the previous evening, who shot both victims and left them for dead. The citizens called 911 and the National Park Service Rangers arrived. The Park Rangers discovered that both subjects had been shot, and the female victim, identified as Rosa Castrejon, was deceased from her wounds. The male was airlifted to the University Medical Center where he underwent emergency surgery and survived.
LVMPD Homicide detectives have completed a sketch of the suspect and flier with a photo of a vehicle similar to the vehicle the suspect was driving. The LVMPD Homicide Section asks that citizens with information contact Homicide Detectives Wildemann or Bunn at 702-828-3521.

Synopsis: Victim Sergio Lopez exited a residence in the 5600 block of E Lake Mead walking eastbound, and was shot at by two unknown assailants. The victim died from multiple gunshot wounds, and to date the suspects have not been positively identified.

Victim: Kevin Franchow

Location: Ansan Sister City Park at 7801 Ducharme Ave.
Date/Time: July 26th, 2009 / 1225 a.m.
Synopsis: On Sunday, July 26th at 1225 a.m., two young black males robbed and assaulted a young woman at gunpoint in the Ansan Sister City Park near Buffalo and Alta Drive. As the suspects walked away from their female victim, they saw Kevin Franchow walking in the park as he usually did in the evenings. For no apparent reason, one of the suspects shot and killed Franchow as he passed by. The two suspects then ran to an awaiting gray or silver car and fled the area. Franchow was partially deaf and blind and suffered from a mental disability. He walked in the park at night because his skin was sensitive to direct sunlight.

Victim: Sherryl Sacueza

Location: 6778 Mangrum Circle, Las Vegas, NV
Date: July 2, 2008
Synopsis: On July 2, 2008 at approximately 1208 hours, the body of Sherryl Sacueza was discovered inside her vehicle parked in the driveway of her house located at 6778 Mangrum Circle, Las Vegas, NV. An autopsy revealed she had died as a result of strangulation and blunt force trauma to the head. The investigation revealed Sacueza had been murdered by Jesus Mungia. Sacueza and Mungia had lived together for over 14 years and had four children in common.
On July 3, 2008 warrants of arrest were issued for Jesus Mungia for Kidnap 1st Degree with a Deadly Weapon and Murder with a Deadly Weapon. The investigation also revealed that prior to killing Sacueza, Mungia had active warrants for his arrest out of California for Stolen Vehicle and Assault on a Police Officer with a Deadly Weapon.

Location: Storm drain under Tropicana west of I-215
Date: April 28th, 2008
Synopsis: On April 28th, 2008, the body of Joseph Lopez was found in the storm drain under Tropicana Avenue, west of the I-215. An autopsy revealed Lopez had been shot to death. Lopez had attended Durango High School, but was a student at Spring Valley High School at the time of his murder.

Victim: Cory Bernard Iascone

Location: Point Conception Drive east of Rampart Boulevard
Date: August 19, 2007 at approximately 2:26 p.m.
Synopsis: On 08-19-2007 at approximately 1426 hours, a grey Honda Accord was discovered stopped in the middle of the west bound travel lane of Point Conception Drive with the passenger door open by passing drivers. Cory Iascone was discovered sitting behind the steering wheel of the Honda with a gunshot wound.
Cory Iascone was a resident of Las Vegas, attended Palo Verde High School and was seventeen years of age. Point Conception Drive is located in the area of Del Webb Boulevard and N. Rampart Boulevard.

Victim: Anthony Lee Reynolds, 19 years of age

Location: AMPM Store and Gas Station, 5685 Mountain Vista Las Vegas, NV 89120
Date: June 18th, 2007 0010 Hrs
Synopsis:
Reynolds met some friends in the parking lot of the AMPM store. Reynolds got into an argument with a male subject who had approached him. The argument escalated into a physical altercation. Reynolds got out of his car and struck the subject once time, knocking him to the ground. Another subject not involved in the altercation pulled out a handgun and fired five shots at Reynolds. Reynolds was struck twice and died as a result of his injuries. The suspect got into a black Ford Extended Cab pickup truck and left south on Mountain Vista.
Detectives obtained video surveillance which depicts the suspect wearing a brown shirt, brown long shorts, and white shoes and socks. Detectives need assistance in identifying the suspect depicted in the surveillance photos.

Date: May 28, 2006 (Memorial Day weekend)
Synopsis: On Sunday, June 28th 2006, a combination block party and car show was taking place in the 500 block of Frederick Avenue, adjacent to Walker Avenue. At approximately 1743 hours, L.V.M.P.D. dispatch received several 911 calls from citizens stating there were several people shooting into the hundreds of gathered partiers. Patrol units responded and witnessed mass hysteria as the several hundred citizens, attending the party, were fleeing in all directions. Eight victims were shot, all of which were transported by medical personnel with the exception of Steven Beck who died on the sidewalk in front of 513 Frederick. Two victims, Gemar Samuel and Tina Robles died as a result of their gunshot wounds at the University Medical Center, Trauma Unit later that evening. The entire 500 block of Frederick was cordoned off using crime scene tape. Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Analysts respond to the scene to begin an investigation. Dozens of people were interviewed; to date none of the suspects have been identified.

Rashad West

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Homicide Section is seeking the assistance of all residents who reside at 1591 Chartered Circle. On April 20, 2006 at 11:35 pm, Rashad West (pictured at left) was shot and killed in front of Building "B" after arriving home with his girlfriend. The suspect is described as a black male adult, in his early 20's, wearing a white t-shirt and a white baseball cap.
If any resident has information, they are urged to call Detective Dean O'Kelly at 828-3521, or to remain anonymous they may call Crimestoppers at 385-5555. Callers may be eligible for a reward of up to $2000.00 for information leading to identification and arrest of the suspect.

On 03/04/2006 at approximately 1645 hours, the body of Vanessa Eileen Zambrano was found in the marsh area at Lake Mead, near the Government Wash boat launch ramp. The investigation revealed that Zambrano's death was a homicide.

Location: 5300 block W. Gowan Rd. Las Vegas, NV

Synopsis:
On 12/25/2005, at approximately 1710 hours, James Stacy was walking in the 5300 block of W. Gowan, on his way home, when an unknown black male shot him. Several persons stopped to help Stacy. Stacy only told witnesses that he was shot by a black male who was on foot and that he won $700.00 at the Fiesta Hotel.
Numerous witnesses were interviewed, however no one saw the suspect. Video from the Fiesta Hotel, the CAT bus and the Funny's convenience store he was in just prior to the shooting, did not reveal any BMA's following him.

Dorothy W. Sargent

The afternoon of December 9, 2005, Dorothy Sargent was discovered in her residence in the 2200 block of Isabelle Ave. Sargent, a widow who lived alone in the residence, had been asphyxiated.
A reward of up to $10,000 (Crime Stoppers and victim's family) has been offered in this case.

Gregory Robertson

On 11/27/2005 at approximately 1500 hours, Gregory Robertson was discovered at 1910 Ferrell St., inside a green, Chevy Trail Blazer bearing Nevada license plates 473-RKR; dead from apparent gunshot wounds to the head. The investigation revealed that Robertson's death was a homicide.

Julie P. Miller

The late morning of August 23, 2005, Julie and Ronald Miller had just arrived at the Suncoast Hotel / Casino for an early lunch when they were approached in the parking lot by a black male - approximately 30 years of age, 6' tall, thin to medium build, and light complected - who displayed a handgun and demanded money. The subject ultimately shot both Julie and Ronald Miller, and fled in a late model, white or silver, Dodge Magnum station wagon. Julie died as a result of her injuries.
The Suncoast Hotel / Casino has offered a reward of up to $100,000 in this case.

On 8-9-05 at 1844 hours, LVMPD patrol officers along with medical personnel were dispatched to 1413 Manzanita Way reference a person being shot. The victim, later identified as Sergio Alvarenga, was discovered laying in the driveway of 1413 Manzanita Way, dead from apparent gunshot wound(s) to the head.

LOCATION: 370 E. Harmon (Harbor Island Apartments)
DATE: April 4th, 2005
SYNOPSIS: On April 4th, 2005 Brian Pullen was found murdered in his weekly apartment at the Harbor Island Apartments at 370 E. Harmon, located behind the Hard Rock Hotel. Pullen was new to Las Vegas and had recently moved from the Cleveland Ohio area. At the time of his death, Pullen was working at the Luxor as a dealer.

On 3-22-2005 at approximately 0344 hours, Stella Wingard discovered the body of black male lying face down on 7th just south of Mesquite. She stopped a marked unit at 7th Street and Stewart and reported her discovery to Officer Umana P# 7441. Patrol officers responded to the area along with medical personnel and discovered the body of Harry Howard lying in 7th Street just south of Mesquite. Howard appeared to be the victim of a stabbing.

Date: Body discovered – January 28, 2005 – Reported missing December 29, 2004
Synopsis:
Alexander Goldstein was last seen alive, by his girlfriend, on December 23, 2004; he was reported missing, by his father, on December 29, 2004. Alexander's body was found in the trunk of his car, a black 1998 Lexus GS400, NV 392-PPE on January 28, 2005. The car was located in a tow yard in North Las Vegas. The car had been towed from an apartment complex at 5900 Sky Point Dr., Las Vegas. An autopsy determined Alexander died as the result of multiple gunshot wounds.

Synopsis: On 11/14/2004 at approximately 2227 hours, LVMPD Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call reporting that someone was shot at the Cayman Bay Apartments located at 2701 N. Rainbow. Patrol Officers responded and located Israel Ramos-Barrios, the apparent victim of a gunshot wound. He was transported to UMC Trauma where he succumbed to his injuries.

Victim: John "Sandstone" Doe

5'6 to 5'8, slightly muscular build

Location: Desert Area 3.7 Miles East of Hollywood 300 yards South of Lake Mead Blvd.
Synopsis:
Hikers located the skeletal remains of the victim in a small cave in a sandstone rock formation. The entrance had been partially covered with smaller stones. The remains and clothing were recovered. Upon examination it was determined that the victim had been murdered with a single gunshot wound to the back of the head. The victim is believed to have been dead anywhere from 3 months to a year prior to being found. The victim was also in the process of having a root canal done when he was murdered. An artist's rendition of the victim's clothing is also attached below.

Aaron M. Church

The late evening of September 9, 2003, Aaron M. Church, was leaving an acquaintance's residence, driving his maroon, 2003 Saturn Ion, in the vicinity of Dinning and Hinkle, when he was shot numerous times. Church's body was found in the street, and his vehicle recovered a few blocks away. Four young black males were seen abandoning Church's vehicle in the 300 block of Shadybrook Lane.

Victoria Camara

On 08/11/2003 at approximately 0718 hours, Steven Webb, a gravel truck driver discovered the body of a Hispanic female in the desert area just south of the haul road located approximately 1200 feet west of US 95, mile marker 52. Boulder City Police Detectives J. Stone and J. Lomprey arrived and processed the crime scene.
On 08/22/2003, Bolder City Police Detectives and LVMPD Detectives identified the body of the Hispanic female as Victoria Camara. The Clark County Coroner's Office confirmed the identity. It's believed Camara was murdered in the Las Vegas area therefore LVMPD homicide took over the investigation.

Mario Caesar Stein

On 05-29-2003 at approximately 0711 hours the LVMPD received a 911 phone call asking that the welfare of Mario Stein, 4740 E. Charleston, Apt. 9 be checked. When officers arrived at apartment #9, the door was locked. Officers obtained a key and gained entry. Upon entering the apartment, officers discovered the body of Mario Caesar Stein. Mr. Stein was lying on the bedroom floor covered with clothing and bedding. Mr Stein had been stabbed numerous times and was deceased. The autopsy report lists the number of stab wounds to be in excess of 40. Mr Stein was 28 years old at the time of his homicide, and there were no signs of forced entry into his apartment.

On 04/07/2003, at approximately 0044 hours, LVMPD patrol officers responded to the south alley of 995 Sierra Vista Dr., Las Vegas, Nevada. Officers discovered Tangelene Mayfield, dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Another victim was also located in the parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, that victim was transported to University Medical Center for treatment and released.

On 12/16/2002, at 1858 hours, the body of Manuel Maldonado was located in the parking lot of the Rancho Verde Apartments located at 98 S. Martin Luther King Boulevard. Maldonado was dead from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest.

Morgan Harris

On November 28, 2002, the body of Morgan Harris was found at UMC. He had been shot and put in the trunk of his car. LVMPD investigators need anyt information regarding the identities of any person or persons responsible for his murder. On 07/25/2002, at approximately 2240 hours, LVMPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at 1203 Cunningham Dr. When they arrived they found DeJauntre Morris and suffering from gunshot wounds. The responding officers requested paramedics. Morris died at UMC from his wounds.

Daniel Sierra

On 04/15/2002, at approximately 2204 hours, Jose Sierra was discovered in the intersection of W. Redberry Street and N. Hazelnut Lane, dead from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. The investigation revealed that Sierra's death was a homicide. The closest major streets to the crime scene were W. Cheyenne Avenue and N. Rancho Drive.

Gabriel Barron Camacho

On 06/06/2001 at approximately 1:46 p.m., LVMPD Dispatch received a call of a body found in the back seat of a gold, 1990 Chrysler New Yorker, parked in the parking lot of the Indoor Swap Meet located at 574 N. Eastern Ave. The victim was identified as Gabriel Barron Camacho, he was known to his friends as Santana. The gold, 1990 Chrysler New Yorker was registered to the victim who was employed at Southwest Systems as an electrician.

Victim: Patrick Sheen
Suspect: Zhen Yu Liang aka Jenny Liang
Location: 240 Royal Wood Court
Date: 10-12-2000
SYNOPSIS: On October 12, 2000 Patrick Sheen was discovered dead in his residence located at 240 Royal Wood Court. He was the victim of a homicide. On October 18, 2000 an arrest warrant was issued for Sheen’s live-in girlfriend, 38 year old Zhen Yu Liang, who also goes by the name of Jenny Liang. The warrant charges Liang with murder with deadly weapon. Liang fled to China prior to the discovery of Sheen’s body.
